Happy Birthday Kyle!!

This year Kyle turned 2! Oh how time flies! It’s amazing to think about how different he is from his first birthday. He is such a chatterbox although you may not know it sometimes because he can be quite shy around new people. But when he gets to know you, you may wish he was still shy! One thing definitely hasn’t changed – Kyle was sick again on his birthday. We even had to cancel his party because he got the stomach bug, again, that’s been going around all winter. It was a mild case, so his cousins and a couple of friends decided that they wanted to have a party anyway. So we had an impromptu party at a food court in one of the malls. To everyone’s surprise, it was a much better party than any of us expected on such short notice!

Apparently his stomach wasn’t bothering him too much that he couldn’t have cake!

This year he racked up the power tools. If I could only get those toys to actually work!

In the end, it was a big success. He had a great time and can’t wait until next year! Who knows what he’ll be like then!
